Participating hospitals and day surgeries

Current as at 12 July 2010

Manchester Unity has reached agreements with more than 400 private hospitals and day surgeries throughout Australia. These are our participating private hospitals, and you can be certain of what your costs will be if you are admitted to any of these facilities. This list is current as at 12 July 2010 and is subject to change without notice. We advise that you check with us on 13 13 72 before confirming your admission.

At any of these hospitals you will be covered for accommodation (single room if available), theatre fees, labour ward, intensive care, most pharmaceuticals for your treatment and at least one Government approved surgically implanted prosthesis for each type of surgical procedure. If your cover includes an excess, you will simply pay the applicable amount. The account for services is usually sent directly to us after your stay, once you have confirmed the services received.

For hospitals where we do not have an agreement, limited benefits apply and you are likely to have out of pocket expenses in relation to all hospital charges.
