Introducing our health management programs
Benefits for exercise and gym membership fees are being incorporated into HCF Group’s health management programs. Your benefits remain but the way you claim for these will change.
We are removing your excess
From 1 July 2010 you won’t pay the first $50 of a claim. We’ve removed the six monthly limit and replaced it with an annual limit – you can claim the full amount in one go.
How to claim exercise and gym membership fees from 1 July 2010
To claim, you and your doctor will need to complete the Exercise and Gym Benefits claim form. This will let us know what health condition you are claiming for, and what type of exercise is prescribed to help with this condition. Please submit this form along with your receipts.

These offer benefits for a range of services that help keep you fit and well.
These programs include:
- Exercise programs and gym membership fees (formerly KeepFit)
- First aid course
- Learn to swim
- Quit smoking
- Weight management
- Stress management programs (from 1 July 2010)
- Childbirth education (from 1 July 2010)*
- Lactation consultation (from 1 July 2010).*
